VRC Stash terms

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using VRC Stash, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Age Requirement and Mature Content

VRC Stash may display or link to creator-submitted listings that include mature, adult, suggestive, or 18+ content. You may only use VRC Stash if you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher. By entering the site, you confirm that you meet that requirement.

You are responsible for following the laws and platform rules that apply to you, including any rules from VRChat, Gumroad, payment providers, or the creators whose products you view or purchase.

3. What VRC Stash Is

VRC Stash is an information-location service, catalog, index, search page, and linking service for public third-party marketplace listings related to VRChat-compatible assets and creator products. VRC Stash helps users discover and navigate to listings hosted on third-party storefronts such as Gumroad.

VRC Stash is not the seller of record, payment processor, marketplace operator for the underlying transaction, file host, upload host, asset host, download provider, delivery provider, escrow service, refund provider, technical support provider, license provider, or warranty provider for third-party products listed on the site.

VRC Stash does not let creators upload asset files to VRC Stash, does not store or distribute downloadable asset packages, does not provide product download links from its own servers, and does not complete or process purchases. When you click a Gumroad listing, your purchase, download, license, support, refund, chargeback, taxes, and delivery are handled by Gumroad and/or the applicable Gumroad creator under their own terms and policies.

4. Third-Party Listings and Content

Listings may come from Gumroad product data, creator-submitted access-token imports, manually added product URLs, affiliate links, referral links, or other public third-party marketplace sources. VRC Stash indexes and displays public listing information so users can find relevant products; it does not create, own, host, sell, inspect, or distribute the underlying assets.

VRC Stash does not guarantee that any product title, image, description, price, category, availability, compatibility, safety claim, license claim, copyright claim, trademark claim, creator statement, or ownership statement is accurate, complete, legal, current, non-infringing, or suitable for your use.

Creators and third-party sellers are solely responsible for their products, product pages, preview images, claims, licenses, intellectual-property rights, files, refunds, customer support, legal compliance, and any mature-content labeling required by their storefront or applicable law.

5. No Endorsement

A listing on VRC Stash does not mean that VRC Stash endorses, sponsors, verifies, guarantees, certifies, moderates, owns, or is affiliated with the product or creator. Sorting, featuring, categorizing, or displaying a product is for discovery only and does not create any promise about quality, compatibility, safety, legality, or reliability.

6. Affiliate and Referral Disclosure

Some product links may include affiliate, referral, tracking, or creator-credit parameters. VRC Stash may receive a commission, referral credit, attribution credit, or other benefit if you click a link or buy a product through one of those links. This does not increase the price unless the third-party storefront says otherwise.

7. Creator Listing Tools

If you use the listing or deletion tools, you are responsible for only submitting tokens and products you are authorized to use. VRC Stash uses a submitted Gumroad access token only for the requested import or deletion action and is designed not to store the token. Product listing data may be stored locally by VRC Stash so the catalog can display public product information.

The listing tools are for indexing public storefront information only. They are not a file-upload system. You may not upload asset packages, Unity packages, models, textures, scripts, downloads, or other product files to VRC Stash through these tools.

You give VRC Stash permission to display the imported public listing data, including product names, prices, images, summaries, categories, tags, creator names, creator slugs, and outbound Gumroad links. You can request removal through the site tools, and VRC Stash may remove, refuse, deindex, hide, or recategorize listings for any reason.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use VRC Stash to submit, promote, or link to illegal content, stolen assets, malware, credential theft, harassment, non-consensual sexual content, sexual content involving minors, hateful or violent extremist material, privacy violations, products that infringe intellectual property rights, or products that violate Gumroad, VRChat, payment-provider, hosting-provider, or applicable legal requirements.

You may not interfere with the site, abuse the import tools, attempt to bypass age gates, scrape in a way that harms service reliability, submit false ownership information, or use VRC Stash to mislead buyers.

9. Intellectual Property

VRC Stash branding, layout, text, code, and original site assets belong to VRC Stash or its licensors. Product names, images, marks, and assets shown in listings belong to their respective creators or rights holders. VRChat and Gumroad are third-party names and marks owned by their respective owners; VRC Stash is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by them.

VRC Stash does not determine whether a third-party seller owns, licenses, or has permission to sell the products, preview images, names, brands, models, textures, scripts, characters, or other materials referenced by a public marketplace listing. Displaying or indexing a listing on VRC Stash is not a determination that the underlying seller has valid intellectual-property rights.

10. Copyright and Takedown Requests

VRC Stash is an information-location service indexing public third-party marketplace listings. It does not host the asset files, process the sale, provide the download, or determine the underlying seller's intellectual-property rights. If you believe a listing indexed by VRC Stash infringes your rights, contact VRC Stash with enough information to identify the work, the specifically identified VRC Stash listing URL, the third-party marketplace URL if available, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.

When appropriate, VRC Stash may deindex, remove, hide, disable, or refuse specifically identified material from the VRC Stash catalog. Removing a VRC Stash listing only affects VRC Stash's index and does not remove content, products, files, downloads, or marketplace pages from Gumroad or any other third-party service.

For stronger DMCA safe-harbor protection in the United States, a service provider generally needs to designate and register a DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and publish that contact information. Until a formal agent is published, contact VRC Stash through the public VRC Akira/Gumroad contact route.

11. Purchases, Refunds, Support, and Downloads

All purchases happen on third-party storefronts such as Gumroad. VRC Stash does not process payments, collect payment details, issue refunds, deliver files, host downloads, provide download access, control product updates, provide license keys, guarantee compatibility with Unity, VRChat SDK, avatars, worlds, shaders, or scripts, or provide post-sale support for third-party products.

Before buying, review the creator's product page, requirements, license, refund policy, age rating, platform compatibility, and support terms.

12. No Warranties

VRC Stash is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. VRC Stash disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, VRC Stash and its owners, operators, contributors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, device damage, account issues, platform bans, payment disputes, creator disputes, buyer disputes, or losses related to third-party products or sites.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, VRC Stash's total liability for any claim related to the site will not exceed the greater of 100 U.S. dollars or the amount you paid directly to VRC Stash for the site feature giving rise to the claim. Purchases made through Gumroad or other third-party storefronts are not payments to VRC Stash unless clearly stated otherwise.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VRC Stash and its owners, operators, contributors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your use of the site, your submitted listings, your products, your tokens, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your violation of someone else's rights.

15. Site Changes, Removals, and Availability

VRC Stash may change, suspend, remove, hide, recategorize, reject, or disable any listing, feature, link, category, guide, or site section at any time and for any reason. VRC Stash may stop operating the site or any part of it without notice.

16. Privacy and Tokens

VRC Stash aims to avoid collecting unnecessary user data. The community listing tool is designed to use Gumroad access tokens only for the immediate import or deletion request and not store them. Browser features such as the 18+ entry confirmation may use local storage on your device.

Do not submit sensitive information unless the site specifically asks for it and you understand why it is needed. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

Unless a different rule is required by law, these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the site operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to resolve disputes individually and not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent allowed by law.

18. Changes to These Terms

VRC Stash may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date shows when the page was last changed. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
